It’s completely covered by the tachometer at 1500 rpm, which is the speed the engine spends most of its time at.

You know, there’s an easy fix for that. Drive faster.

Dart...?
I don’t mind the look of them - never driven one though.

It’s probably the charger he just got.

yeah, my dad’s grand cherokee does this too

Huh. What I wouldn’t give to be able to cruise at 1500 rpm. Freeways driving puts me at 4000 in 5th gear, going about 70mph

Or just never upshift

Chargers/Challengers/300s don’t like to rev, regardless of whether its the V8 or the Pentastar. Mine cruises in the 1000-1500 range on the highway, and doesn’t really break 2500 under acceleration.

High-beam indicators should be large, bright, and center-mounted so they cannot be missed. Hondas and Toyotas are the worst about this. They are obscured by needles, or tiny, or ill-placer, or dim, or a combination of all of the above. So many drivers of Hondas and Toyotas don’t realize they’re blinding the heck out of other drivers and are oblivious when you helpfully try to tell them they’re driving in traffic with them on.

My NB settles in at 4K RPM in 6th at 80 mph. What’s the point of six gears if none of them are useful above 60 mph?

I did not know that. Makes me want a V8 charger even more now

Want to trade transmissions? ;)
